I went to the local UHaul today to get the wiring for a trailer installed. I called last week to make the reservation — 10:30am — and confirm that indeed they had the required harness — they assured me that they did. What I did NOT confirm is that they had the skills required to install it.
So I show up at 10:28am and, after a little back and forth, learn that the only guy that knows how to install the harness “is at an all-day meeting”. That’s the owner/manager of the franchise apparently. But … I made a reservation!
So, with the owner on the phone, we agreed to move my reservation out two days so he can be there and install it.
Follow-up coming, I imagine…
